Tough Times Don’t Last

Tough times always come, but never last. Try remembering the problem you were worrying about exactly one year ago, what is it? Always drift away from the negative holes of our lives. Jimmy Dean’s words remind us that, “I can’t change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination.”

How many times do I have to reiterate that life is a matter of perspective, of choice, of disposition and attitude? It really is! I have gone through the darkest moments of my life, lost a lot of friends in the process, faced numerous rejections, but I have no reason to let go because I know the rewards will be bigger than my problems and fears. Life never taught us to quit!

Adjust your sails, the wind won’t last for so long. Adjust your attitude for the sun will shine brighter sooner. Tough times are always there, and what we choose affects how those challenges would end up.

Hence, don’t worry about the things that you cannot control, do something about those that you can control instead.

Life is too short to worry. Stop it, for the love you have for yourself.

Indeed tough times don’t last. My parents has gone through so much tough and difficult times raising 6 children. We grew up not aspiring nor asking for anything from them but with the attitude of making sure each and every ounce of hardwork and sacrifice they make is paid with obedience, discipline and hardwork by doing our part as their children and finish school. Looking back in memory of them . We just can’t thank them enough that we are where we are now because of them…
