“Writing heartfelt messages is one of the best ways to show the people around you that you care for them. All you need is a sincere heart and a willingness to set aside time for writing.
What can you write about? Plenty. For instance, you can write simple thank-you notes to acknowledge the efforts of your team mates or tell work colleagues that you appreciate their hard work. You can send postcards to distant relatives abroad to let them know that you think of them even if you’re physically absent in their lives. You can thank your mentors, teachers, or workshop facilitators for teaching you by writing down what lessons you have learned from their classes or conversations with them. You can write letters to friends or family members to let them know how they’ve made a positive difference in your life. Writing a poem (even if it doesn’t rhyme) is definitely a romantic way to express your love to your significant other. If you’re up to it, you can even reach out to your former enemies via snail mail. Hopefully it patches up old wounds and pave the way to reconciliation. And if you know someone who is going through rough times, you can write down reminders that whatever problems they are facing now will eventually pass.
You don’t need to wait for special occasions to start writing. Anytime is a good time to inspire others with words of love and gratitude.”- #BYBYCommunity Member Nina Suzette Lim
