Awesome: For Ian Tang

I took a year off from graduate school to “experience” life and “try to adult” along the way. I applied for a job, my first job actually, and the company required a week for Pre-Employment Training. Sir Tang was one of the trainers.

His favorite word is “awesome” and I guess he walks his talk. He has taught me to be confident about myself and the way I am, when most teachers would just teach you to change for the better. He made me understand that I didn’t need to go through any radical changes but that I could always choose to do more and be more with what I already had. Subtly, he has magnified my strengths so much that any flaws I find along the way would feel manageable and fixable. Most of all, he taught me to be passionate about what I choose to do with my life.

Sir Tang, I salute you for doing the things you do! I surely owe my confidence now to my training days with you. Stay awesome!
