I have previously believed that relationships would make me whole. During my younger years, I have given up so much of myself thinking that If I gave my all in a relationship, I would get the kind of love that I deserve. Years later and after a series of failed relationships, I came to an understanding that only God could fill my life with joy through his unconditional love and grace. God blessed me with a man, who, from the onset of our friendship, made it a point to bring me closer to God. He guided me, taught me His words and inspired me to serve God by loving people unconditionally. During the time when we were still dating, he helped me become the best that I could be by respecting me as a woman and by sticking to our conviction to keep our relationship pure.
This made our journey truly fulfilling. And when we had our first kiss during our wedding, I could truly say that “He has made everything beautiful in its time.” (Ecclesiastes 3:11)
My husband is my lifetime mentor. A man whose goal is to lead me to Christ every single day until I become the kind of woman that God wants me to be.
