In the events industry, process is key to delivering a memorable brand experience. Anyone can learn that from textbooks or any academic insitutions. I learned the “process” when I accepted a stint overseas. But one thing most difficult to learn is to have “puso” while designing brand experiences.
Ria, or “Mumri” (short for Mommy Ri) not only taught me how to have the heart but she showed it to me — she even let me experience it. More than just having a “beautiful” event, she made it a point that it is memorable not only for the client but for all those who worked on that project. Not all can be quantified with dollars and cents, and that’s what I’ve learned from her — “…have the heart.”
