Risk It

“You can’t leave a footprint that lasts if you’re always walking on tiptoe.” –Marion Blakely

Last night, I was reminiscing about my college days until the very moment of my first year anniversary in the PR/Ad world.

I can’t say I have had enough, but I have learned to keep up with the demands of adulthood (read: bills, savings, plans, and business ventures), accepted lessons I had to relearn, unlearn and learn the hard and easy way, and acquired values I will- ‘til the apocalypse comes- bring with me and teach to those who believe in me.

One thing I treasure the most is the triumph in every risk I took. My perception is like this: either you win or you learn. Risks have been so challenging for every one of us, but I started to believe that risking has taught me to be stronger and wiser. My coaches tell me– if I can’t give it all, don’t expect to have it all.

True enough, you cannot make a mark if you tiptoe. Put that mark with all your might, and let no circumstances erode that mark on earth. Let’s challenge ourselves. Challenge me as well.
